3 Ways to Reduce Waste in 2020 (that you must do)

January 2, 2020

I first created this post in preparation for 2019, and it continued to be one of my top three posts throughout the entire year. I decided to not only reissue it, but add one more easy to complete solution to reducing waste at home. Do you do new year’s resolutions/goals? I used to, but haven’t… Read More 3 Ways to Reduce Waste in 2020 (that you must do)

Two Things You Must do in Order to Reduce Waste in 2019

December 4, 2018

Do you do new year’s resolutions/goals? I used to, but haven’t been as gung-ho about it the past few years. That being said, I like the idea of having a new year as a fresh start – BUT, I don’t limit myself to starting something in the middle of the year if I feel like… Read More Two Things You Must do in Order to Reduce Waste in 2019

Hello! My name is Laura. Welcome to Reduce, Reuse, Renew!

Do you deal with anxious thoughts? Feeling overwhelmed on a daily basis? Constantly surrounded by clutter? Feeling called to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in the right place.

I started my reduction-based journey almost five years ago when I was pregnant with my son. It started out as a simple decluttering project, and quickly turned into so much more. Since then, my family and I have decluttered over 140 large boxes of stuff, reduced our waste by 35lbs a week, said ‘no’ to things that don’t bring us joy, and I’ve managed to finally get to a point where I can be proactive with my anxiety instead of constantly being reactive.

I want to help you adopt a mindset around reducing so you can make time for the things that truly matter. Let’s get started!

Besides ‘reducing’, I love all things Harry Potter, edible cookie dough, and musicals. Additionally, I’m a mom, wife, nature photographer, proud Minnesotan, outdoor enthusiast, food lover, cat lover, gardener, and so much more.
